What the site keeps about you, where, and how to take it away

1. General
This policy sets out how the personal data of the users of poznaku.club (the Site) is processed and protected. It is written to the Federal Law of the Russian Federation No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 "On Personal Data", which governs it.
The data controller (the Operator) is the Site's owner. E-mail address for requests: v4rch4r@gmail.com.
By using the Site the user accepts this policy. By signing in with a Google account and entering birth data the user consents to the processing of their personal data for the purposes and to the extent described below. Consent may be withdrawn as set out in section 7.
2. What data is processed
Without signing in, no personal data is processed. The sign's horoscope, the sky map and the learning pages can be read anonymously. A natal chart without signing in is built from the date, time and place of birth entered and kept only in the user's browser; nothing is sent to the server.
After signing in with Google the Operator receives from Google and keeps: the e-mail address, the name, a link to the profile picture and the Google account identifier. No password reaches the Operator.
Then the user, at their own decision, provides: the date, time and place of birth (town, coordinates, time zone); saved natal charts — their own and those of other people whose data they enter with those people's knowledge; for the dating section — a short note about themselves, gender, the kinds of acquaintance sought, interests and age preferences. From the birth data the Site computes and keeps the signs of the Sun, the Moon and the ascendant.
The dating section keeps the user's decisions about the people shown to them, mutual matches and follows. The interface language and the chosen house system are kept too.
The Operator processes no special categories of personal data (health, beliefs and the like) and no biometric data.
3. Purposes
Personal data is processed solely to: compute natal charts, horoscopes and chart comparisons from birth data; keep the user account and sign the user in; match and connect users who have themselves turned on the dating section; keep user settings.
The Operator does not use personal data for advertising, makes no decisions with legal consequences on its basis, and passes it to no third party except as stated in section 6.
4. Legal basis
Processing rests on the data subject's consent (item 1, part 1, article 6 of Law 152-FZ), given by the user's actions — signing in with Google and entering birth data — and on the performance of the agreement on the use of the Site to which the user is a party (item 5, part 1, article 6).
5. Storage, retention and protection
Data is kept in a database on a server the Operator rents from a hosting provider. Only the Operator has access to the database. The connection to the Site is protected by HTTPS.
A backup of the database is taken once a day; backups are kept for 30 days on the same server and then destroyed.
Personal data is kept for as long as the user's account exists and is destroyed when the account is deleted or consent is withdrawn — together with every record tied to it: charts, profile, dating decisions, matches, follows, sessions. In backups the data remains until the 30 days are up.
6. Third parties
Google LLC — signing in: the Operator receives from Google the data listed in section 2; the Operator passes nothing to Google.
Nominatim (a service of the OpenStreetMap project) — the coordinates of the place of birth from its name: the user's browser sends the service the place name only. It does not identify the user.
Personal data is passed, sold or disclosed to nobody else, except where the law of the Russian Federation expressly requires it.
7. The user's rights and how to make a request
The user may: learn which of their personal data is processed; demand its correction, blocking or destruction; withdraw consent; receive a copy of their data.
A request is answered within ten working days of receipt (article 20 of Law 152-FZ). Withdrawing consent means the account and all data tied to it are deleted as set out in section 5.
A request is sent to the Operator by e-mail to v4rch4r@gmail.com from the address of the user's Google account — that is how the Operator makes sure the request comes from the data subject. The same request exports one's data or deletes the account.
8. Cookies and statistics
The Site uses only strictly necessary cookies — those without which it would not work the way the user set it. They are not personal data and need no consent, so no banner is shown. The Site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The user may disable cookies in the browser; the language and the time zone will then not be remembered.

9. Visit statistics
The Site counts visits with its own installation of Umami on its own server. It uses no cookies, keeps no IP address and passes nothing to third parties; the Operator sees only which pages are opened and how often. The user cannot be identified from this.
10. Age of users
The dating section is for adults only. The Operator does not knowingly collect data of persons under 14; should such data be found, it will be deleted.
11. Changes
The Operator may change this policy. A new wording is published on this page with a new date and applies from publication. Substantial changes are announced on the Site's home page.
